2. VISION, MISSION AND GOALS
  Vision: The PBCAI (Palawan Biodiversity Conservation Advocates, Inc.) envisions Palawan to have a healthy and rich natural resources sustainably providing ecosystems good and services to the local populations thru the dynamic process of resource-proprietorship and sustainable development and initiatives. PBCAI also envisions the Philippines as a country pursuing a zero-waste policy and contributing to efforts to reverse climate change-related problems.    Mission: Actively work for the protection, conservation, enhancement, and sustainable management of biodiversity in the province of Palawan and Puerto Princesa City. Goals: Habitat protection and conservation of key species of plants and animals.Change local perception and attitude from destructive to eco-friendly by instilling the ecological importance of biodiversity.Capacitate local IP and non-IP communities to manage, protect and conserve the existing natural resources and biodiversity. Organize communities to be able to benefit from services derived from the natural resources.Implement ecosystems-based livelihood activities that will improve the human well-being of local and indigenous communities.Advocate for local legislations for better services and stronger implementation of environmental laws.
